ATFX is an online Forex brokerage that was founded in 2014. Its headquarters are located in Cyprus. This firm is regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). ATFX has different trading accounts to choose from and it has low trading costs.
ATFX’s Trading Accounts
ATFX offers two different account types: the Standard account and the Edge account.
The Standard account is suitable for clients who do not have any experience in the trading markets. On the other hand, the Edge account is meant for more established traders. All account types have leverage options, margin call and stop out levels, and the ability to use Expert Advisors (EAs).
The standard account has a required $200 minimum deposit. The spread is up to 1.2 pips and there is no commission fee.
Edge account has a required $5,000 minimum deposit. The spread starts from 0.5 pips and there is a commission fee worth $3 per side or lot.
A Standard account offers higher spreads with no commission fees. Meanwhile, the spreads are much better for an Edge account but a client needs to pay for commission fees.
ATFX does not charge swap fees, so there is no option to sign up for an Islamic account. However, all ATFX accounts technically conform to the Shariah laws.
Clients who want to get their accounts verified must provide supporting documents.
ATFX offers demo accounts for those clients who would like to practice trading on the platform without investing real money.
MetaTrader 4 Trading Platform
All ATFX accounts have access to use the award-winning MetaTrader 4 (MT4) platform. MT4 is a highly popular trading platform and it has the most efficient trading instruments that are very useful when it comes to Forex trading. Traders can download MT4 for Windows, Apple Store, and Google Play.
The Mt4 platform is also available on mobile phones, tablets, or personal computers which are very convenient. However, if clients don’t want to go through the installation process, they can always access the MT4 platform through the WebTrader. It is MT4’s browser-based version.
MT4 offers a user-friendly interface and it is much secured. It has a variety of built-in tools including customizable chartsand technical indicators.
